Local Missions

Two key goals drive what we do in Cape Coral and the surrounding area: Cape Christian is focused on making sure every child in Cape Coral has a safe environment to grow up in and Cape Christian believes that people who want to overcome life-controlling problems, should be able to do so.

Therefore, Cape Christian partners with Habitat for Humanity, Teen Challenge, local schools, Lifeline Family Center, Community Cooperative Ministries and other organizations that move us toward our goals of positively impacting the lives of children and families in the Cape Coral area.  We encourage our members to consider foster care and adoption, to get involved with Big Brother/Big Sister program, and advocate for children through the Guardian ad litem program.  We also sponsor family-focused organizations such as Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.

The Life Changers ministry at Cape Christian seeks to help families and individuals with life-controlling problems.  We open our facilities for weekly meetings of partner organizations such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous and Food Addicts Anonymous.

Cape Christian is involved with the Blessings in a Backpack program through a local school partnership and regularly is involved in helping meet the practical needs of hundreds of local Cape Coral families every year.  We regularly collect food for the Cape Coral Caring Center.
