Child Dedication Classes

Child dedication is a public commitment you make before God, your church, and your family. The dedication service provides you, the parent(s), an opportunity to express publicly your desire to lead and spiritually nurture your child in cooperation with the Holy Spirit, so your child will develop a desire to love God and love people!
Child dedications will be held the weekend of Mother's Day, May 9-10, 2026. To have your child dedicated at Cape Christian:
- We ask parents to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- We ask parents to be sure their beliefs line up with Cape Christian’s statement of belief, located on capechristian.com/our-beliefs
- We ask parents to be regular attendees of Cape Christian’s weekend services.
- We ask parents who are living together and are not married to take steps to have a conversation with a pastor, acknowledging and surrendering to God’s plan for their relationship before participating in the dedication service.

This weekend (December 27th & 28th), Cape Christian will be church online only. There will be no in-person services on campus. While we won’t be gathering physically, church is still very much happening—and we’d love for you to join us online.
If you are new to Cape Christian, this is your chance to meet and chat with Pastor Cory and our Pastoral staff (as well as enjoy some delicious desserts!)
