Kyle Jackson, Lead Pastor
Pastor Kyle Jackson serves as the Lead Pastor of Cape Christian, where he is passionate about helping people know God, find freedom, discover purpose, and make a difference. With more than 15 years of ministry experience, Kyle has dedicated his life to building the local church and helping people take their next step in following Jesus.
Kyle previously served as the Campus Pastor of the Columbus, Georgia campus of Church of the Highlands. Throughout his ministry, he has led growing congregations, developed ministry teams, taught God's Word, and invested in pastors and church leaders.
In 2026, Kyle answered God's call to become the Lead Pastor of Cape Christian, building on the strong foundation established by the church's founding leaders and continuing its mission to reach Southwest Florida with the hope of Jesus. He is committed to leading with biblical truth, genuine relationships, and a vision that equips every person to live out their faith and make an eternal impact. His leadership is marked by a passion for creating healthy churches where people can encounter Jesus, grow in authentic community, and discover the purpose God has for their lives.
Kyle and his wife, Jennifer, have been married for 18 years and are the proud parents of Kaylee and Cooper. Their family is excited to call Southwest Florida home and considers it a privilege to serve the Cape Christian family as they continue helping people say yes to Jesus and experience the life He has for them.

Founding Pastor
Pastor Dennis Gingerich is the Founding Pastor of Cape Christian. Alongside his wife, Linda, he answered God's call to launch a church with a simple but bold vision: create a place where people who had never experienced church could encounter the love of Jesus in a welcoming, life-giving environment. In 1986, they moved to Cape Coral to begin what would become Cape Christian, building the church around a passion for reaching families, serving the community, and helping people take their next step in faith.
For four decades, Pastor Dennis has helped shape not only a growing church but also a culture of generosity, innovation, and community impact that continues today. His heart for church planting, servant leadership, and investing in future generations has left a lasting legacy at Cape Christian and throughout Southwest Florida. While leadership has been passed to a new generation, the mission he helped establish remains at the heart of everything Cape Christian does.
