Goodness of God
God is good, all the time. And all the time, God is good.
It’s a truth many of us have heard before. But what happens when life doesn’t feel good? When prayers seem unanswered, circumstances don’t make sense, or we find ourselves wondering where God is in the middle of what we’re facing?
In Goodness of God, we’ll take an eight-week journey through one of the most foundational truths of our faith: God is good, not simply because of what He does, but because goodness is who He is. Psalm 34:8 invites us to “Taste and see that the Lord is good.” God doesn’t ask us to ignore our questions or pretend that pain isn’t real. He invites us to bring our doubts, disappointments, and struggles to Him and discover His goodness in the middle of them. And nowhere do we see His goodness more clearly than in Jesus. Through His life, His sacrifice on the cross, His resurrection, and His reign, Jesus reveals a God who loves us, pursues us, restores us, and has overcome sin and death on our behalf.
Over these eight weeks, we’ll discover that God’s goodness is bigger than our circumstances, stronger than our doubts, and present even when we can’t yet see what He is doing. Come taste and see for yourself: God is good.
